Job Description

Position: General Manager

Location: Gurgaon / Delhi

Package: Up to ₹12 LPA

 Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of a family-owned boutique hotel. The ideal candidate should bring a blend of operational expertise, sales acumen, and a passion for hospitality. Prior experience in managing independent boutique hotels is essential, and exposure to five-star hotels will be considered a strong plus. The candidate should be aligned with our vision of growing sales, building strong guest relationships, and setting up robust SOPs for staff training and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Excellence

* Oversee daily hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.

* Ensure smooth front office operations including reservations, guest check-in/check-out, and handling guest queries.

* Implement and monitor SOPs to ensure high service standards in all areas of guest experience.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

* Maintain cost control and optimize resources while enhancing profitability.

Sales & Business Development

* Drive sales strategies specifically in the Gurgaon/Delhi market to increase occupancy and revenue.

* Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event partners.

* Conduct competitor analysis and market research to optimize pricing and promotions.

* Develop marketing initiatives and digital presence to expand the hotel’s visibility.

Food & Beverage Management

* Oversee the F\&B operations including menu planning, quality control, vendor management, and event catering.

* Coordinate with chefs and service teams to maintain consistent food standards.

* Create innovative concepts for in-house dining and banqueting to boost revenue.

Staff Management & Training

* Lead recruitment, training, and development of staff across all departments.

* Conduct regular training sessions focusing on guest service, grooming, and hospitality standards.

* Foster a positive and motivated work environment to enhance team productivity.

 Qualifications & Skills

* Proven track record in managing independent boutique hotels or similar family-owned properties.

* Prior experience in five-star hotel operations is a plus.

* Strong sales background with demonstrated success in the Gurgaon/Delhi hospitality market.

* Hands-on experience in Food & Beverage management.

* Front office operations expertise including reservations, guest services, and upselling.

* Ability to train, mentor, and develop staff.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

* Strong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
