Position Overview The Company is on the lookout for a seasoned and strategic General Manager - Supply Chain. This critical role encompasses oversight of our entire supply chain, including procurement and purchasing functions, ensuring operational excellence across our plants located in Tirupati, Sricity, and Noida. The ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of experience in supply chain management within the electronics industry, demonstrating a strong capability in enhancing supply chain processes and in leading teams. Job Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute a robust supply chain strategy that aligns with NeoLync’s business objectives and adapts to evolving market conditions. Champion the adoption of innovative supply chain technologies and methodologies to boost efficiency and productivity. Supply Chain Operations: Ownership of the full spectrum of supply chain activities from procurement and sourcing to logistics and distribution. Ensure smooth operations across all phases to meet production timelines and customer delivery commitments. Technology: Functional ownership of Supply Chain Management (SCM) technology, including the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Work with the technology team for implementation, operations, and enhancement of SCM technology. Procurement and Purchasing: Lead the procurement and purchasing departments, forging strategic alliances with key suppliers and stakeholders. Negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms and guarantee a consistent supply of top-quality materials and components. Cost Management: Spearhead initiatives aimed at reducing costs throughout the supply chain while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Oversee budgeting and monitor operational expenditures to ensure financial objectives are achieved. Team Leadership and Development: Direct and develop the supply chain team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Ensure the team is well-trained and equipped to meet departmental and organizational goals. Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and devise effective mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to international trade regulations and environmental policies. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other department heads, including production, sales, and R&D, to ensure a unified approach to business challenges. Maintain effective communication across all levels of the organization. Key Skills Strategic Thinking: Capable of crafting and implementing long-term strategies that integrate seamlessly with broader business goals. Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of motivating teams to achieve excellence. Analytical Skills: Skilled in analysing complex data to drive decision-making and enhance supply chain operations. Negotiation and Relationship Management: Expert in negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers and external partners. Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on quickly identifying and resolving operational issues. Technical Proficiency: Knowledgeable in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP SCM) and proficient in advanced spreadsheet and database applications. Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with all organizational levels.
