About the Role:

We are seeking a Head of Technology & India Office to lead Caxton’s Bangalore operation. This is a dual leadership role that combines technical management of a multi-disciplinary technology team with strategic oversight of the India office’s operations, culture, and growth.

The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee delivery of technology initiatives and ensure alignment with global technology strategy.
  • Manage local technology operations, ensuring systems run reliably, securely, and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the CTO and Technology team managers to implement firm-wide initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and internal reviews.

  • Compliance with Indian Labour Laws – Ensure full compliance with local labor regulations, including those related to wages, provident fund, ESI, and workplace safety. Maintain robust HR policies and documentation to support audits and inspections.
  • Global Partnership – Serve as the primary point of contact between the India office and global leadership. Provide regular updates on operational performance, talent, and delivery milestones.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and cross-office collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A strong academic track record is expected.
