About the Role

Sports Sponsorship vertical

In addition to sponsorship responsibilities, this role will also include Group PR, Corporate Communications, and potential responsibilities for Marketing functions at Resolute Corp Bharat Pvt. Ltd.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, pitch, and secure sponsorship opportunities across sporting events, leagues, and athletes.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential partners from diverse industries.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value sponsorship deals.
  • Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors and partners, ensuring strong relationships and repeat business.
  • Understand partner objectives and deliver integrated solutions that maximize ROI.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement the sponsorship sales strategy in line with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with marketing, activation, and operations teams to deliver successful sponsorship campaigns.
  • Monitor performance of sponsorships and provide reports, insights, and recommendations for future optimization.
  • Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving sponsorship models.
  • Create innovative sponsorship packages, activations, and engagement opportunities to enhance value proposition.
  • Group PR, Corporate Communications & Marketing (Resolute Corp Bharat Pvt. Ltd.)

  • Lead PR strategy and corporate communication efforts across the group.
  • Manage internal and external communications to strengthen brand reputation.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives at RCBPL, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to integrate sponsorship and marketing synergies.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7–12 years of experience

    in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or business development, preferably in the

    sports, media, or entertainment sector

    .
  • Proven track record of closing large sponsorship deals and managing key client relationships.
  • Strong network of decision-makers across industries.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to design impactful sponsorship solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure ROI and present insights.
  • Passion for sports and understanding of the sports sponsorship ecosystem in India and globally.
  • Prior experience in PR, corporate communications, or marketing will be an added advantage.
