Head of Sales

The Sales Head will lead and manage the overall sales strategy to drive revenue through corporate events, weddings, social functions, room bookings, membership sales. The role requires a strong network, excellent relationship-building skills, and an in-depth understanding of event planning and hotel operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase banquet bookings and revenue
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and other potential partners
• Identify new business opportunities in the events and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments
• Create attractive proposals and negotiate contracts in line with company policies
• Collaborate with the F&B and Banquet Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of events
• Conduct site inspections and ensure the property is presented to potential clients in its best form
• Track sales performance, prepare reports, and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets
• Stay updated on competitor offerings and market trends to position the hotel advantageously
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 10–15 years in banquet/corporate sales/room sales/Membership sales
• Proven track record in banquet or event sales, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
• Strong network within the corporate and wedding/event planning community
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to lead a team and work cross-functionally
• Target-driven with strong organizational and analytical skills
