We are looking for a Production Manager who excels at executing cultural experiences with precision, creativity, and dedication. We are seeking a visionary Head of Sales to lead our revenue strategy, drive business growth, and establish strong partnerships across platforms. Role Overview The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing revenue strategies, building client relationships, setting and achieving sales targets, and leading a high-performing team. This role draws from best practices at Zee Entertainment, Sony Entertainment, and Netflix , emphasizing innovation, deal-making, and performance-driven growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Development Define and execute multi-platform sales strategies across live shows, OTT, broadcast, and digital platforms. Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities, similar to Zee’s focus on ad sales and Netflix’s global distribution revenue models . Deliver consistent revenue growth through innovative commercial models, sponsorships, and content monetization. 2. Client Relationships & Business Growth Build and nurture long-term relationships with advertisers, agencies, sponsors, and partners. Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring maximum value for both clients and the organization. Drive client-centric solutions, drawing from Sony’s integrated client offerings and Netflix’s partnership-led sales approach . 3. Sales Target Ownership Set, monitor, and achieve ambitious sales targets across platforms and regions. Develop annual and quarterly sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals. Track sales pipelines, deal flow, and performance metrics to ensure targets are consistently met. 4. Leadership & Team Development Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales team with a culture of accountability and achievement. Recruit, train, and mentor sales professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational vision. Establish performance frameworks, incentive plans, and career development pathways. 5. Performance Tracking & Market Insights Analyze sales performance data and generate actionable insights for strategy refinement. Conduct competitor benchmarking and identify trends in the media and entertainment landscape. Provide leadership with regular reports on targets, pipelines, and future growth opportunities. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with content, product, finance, and legal teams to design effective sales offerings. Ensure seamless execution of client commitments while maintaining profitability and compliance. Required Qualifications Experience : 10–15 years in sales within media, entertainment, OTT, or streaming industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Track Record : Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and grow revenue streams. Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of media sales (broadcast, OTT, digital, live shows). Leadership : Strong experience in team management, mentoring, and performance leadership. Analytical Skills : Expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and financial acumen. Communication : Excellent negotiation, client engagement, and presentation skills. Education : Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
