Job Description

Position objective:

Head of Residential Solar Sales

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategy & Growth:

    Set the

    national sales strategy

    , revenue targets, and growth roadmap. Drive growth and scale BEEMs residential solar business, ensuring effective execution at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Business Optimization:

    Work closely with product, engineering, and finance teams to

    optimize offerings, pricing

    , and the overall value proposition.
  • Consumer Acquisition:

    Scale consumer acquisition primarily through

    digital-first strategies

    (leveraging experience from PropTech, InsurTech, EdTech, HealthTech), while effectively integrating and leveraging physical touchpoints where relevant.
  • Team Leadership:

    Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance sales organization that can consistently deliver on ambitious revenue goals.
  • Process & Efficiency:

    Identify bottlenecks in sales, fulfilment, and customer experience (

    CX

    ), and implement scalable, data-driven processes for rapid, sustained growth.
  • Performance Analysis:

    Be very

    data-driven

    ; track and analyse key performance metrics (revenue, margins, CAC, conversion rates, sales productivity) to translate insights into actionable business decisions.
  • Customer Journey & Innovation:

    Ensure a

    seamless end-to-end customer journey

    , coordinating closely with fulfilment, operations, and CX teams. Drive innovation in residential solar solutions to differentiate BEEM in the market.
  • Bias for Action:

    Demonstrate a strong

    bias for action

    , taking ownership and executing with speed and agility in a fast-moving, high-velocity environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    12+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of scaling businesses and driving revenue growth from an early stage to 100+Cr .
  • Digital-First Expertise (Essential):

    Experience in digital-first consumer businesses (PropTech, InsurTech, EdTech, HealthTech is essential).
  • Sales Channel Mastery:

    Expertise in leading and executing inside sales, field sales, and partner/channel strategies. Experience managing both physical and digital customer touchpoints is a plus.
  • Data & Process:

    A data- and process-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to effectively translate metrics into actionable business decisions.
  • Team Leadership:

    Experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing sales teams across multiple regions.
  • Operational Scale (Plus):

    Prior experience managing complex, multi-city operations at scale is a significant plus.
  • Sector Knowledge & Agility:

    Experience in energy/solar sectors is a plus; however, learning agility and the ability to thrive in a high-velocity environment are essential.
