Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Placement Lead to spearhead our placement function. The ideal candidate brings first-hand experience from managing campus placements, deep industry connections, and a strong grasp of how fresher recruitment works—especially in fast-growing domains like Data Science, Analytics, and Software Development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Placement Strategy: Drive the end-to-end placement strategy and execution for learners across UG/PG programs for the campus and bootcamps learners
  • Team Management: Lead and program manage a team of Corporate Relationship Managers (CRMs) responsible for sourcing job opportunities from employment platforms and direct outreach
  • Industry Connects: Leverage your existing recruiter relationships and networks to open doors for new hiring partnerships
  • Employer Engagement: Conduct high-quality, consultative discussions with recruiters to understand hiring needs and position our learner pool effectively
  • Recruitment Coordination: Own the entire recruitment process lifecycle—JD sharing, student shortlisting, scheduling, feedback management, and offer rollouts
  • Student Readiness: Work closely with the learner success team to ensure talent is industry-ready in terms of skills, communication, and interview prep
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track placement data, team KPIs, and conversion metrics to constantly optimize the strategy


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Education: BE. /Btech or MBA from a reputed institute
  • Experience: 5-7 years as a TPO or in a placement-facing role at a Tier 1 / Tier 2 Engineering college/B-school
  • Domain Exposure: Prior experience with UG placements and roles in tech-heavy domains (Data Science, Analytics, Software Engineering) is a big plus
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communicator with the ability to manage recruiters, internal teams, and students with equal effectiveness
  • Process-Oriented: Strong grasp of campus hiring workflows and placement operations
  • Result-Oriented: Bias for action with a track record of driving outcomes
