Head of Placements

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Client Development & Relationship Management

• Identify, approach, and build strong relationships with top-tier companies across industries.

• Bring in better-quality recruiters and clients that match the skill sets of candidates.

• Maintain long-term partnerships with hiring organizations through consistent engagement.

2. Placement Strategy & Execution

• Design and implement effective strategies to improve placement success rates.

• Map industry requirements with candidate skills to ensure the right match.

• Organize recruitment drives, campus placement events, and career fairs.

3. Candidate Support & Preparation

• Guide students/candidates in building resumes, preparing for interviews, and improving overall employability.

• Conduct workshops, mock interviews, and soft-skill training sessions.

• Provide mentorship and career counseling to boost candidate confidence.

4. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead the placement team to ensure smooth execution of placement activities.

• Collaborate with academic/training departments to align skill development with market needs.

• Monitor and report placement progress and outcomes to management.

5. Market Intelligence & Branding

• Keep track of industry hiring trends, emerging job roles, and employer expectations.

• Promote the institution/organization as a trusted hiring partner to companies.

• Work on building brand visibility through networking, corporate tie-ups, and industry collaborations.
