Job Description

Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly experienced and connected Head of Marketing to drive our brand's growth within the B2B commercial office furniture sector. The ideal candidate will leverage an existing strong network within the Architectural and Interior Design (A&D) community to foster key relationships, understand their specific needs, and position our products as the preferred solutions for commercial projects. This strategic role demands a deep commercial acumen, a proven track record in B2B marketing within the industry, and the ability to bridge the gap between design vision and market needs to achieve significant revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Planning:

     Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives, specifically targeting architects, interior designers, real estate consultants, and corporate clients in the commercial furniture market.
  • A&D Community Engagement:

     Cultivate and expand a strong professional network and build lasting relationships with architects, interior designers, and key influencers. Plan and execute targeted engagement activities, events, and educational initiatives to position the company as an industry expert and go-to resource.
  • Product Positioning & Content:

     Collaborate closely with product development and sales teams to ensure marketing materials and content effectively communicate product value, design aesthetics, and technical specifications that meet the needs of the A&D community (e.g., BIM data, specification sheets, case studies).
  • Market Intelligence & Insight:

     Conduct continuous market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and the evolving needs of commercial clients and design professionals. Use these insights to inform product development and refine marketing tactics.
  • Brand Management:

     Enhance brand recognition and ensure a consistent, compelling brand message across all touchpoints, emphasizing our unique value proposition and design philosophy.
  • Lead Generation & Sales Enablement:

     Drive high-quality, project-based lead generation efforts and provide the sales team with the necessary tools, content, and market support to convert opportunities into sales closures.
  • Budget & Performance Management:

     Manage the marketing budget, allocate resources efficiently, and utilize data analytics to track KPIs and measure the ROI of all marketing activities, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Leadership:

     Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and commercial awareness. Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies. 


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

     A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Architecture, or Interior Design is required; an MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-12+ years of progressive marketing experience in a B2B environment, with significant experience in a senior leadership role within the commercial furniture, office interiors, or architectural products industries.

  • Proven, established network of contacts within the architecture, interior design, and real estate consultancy communities is mandatory

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies within the commercial design industry.
  • Skills & Knowledge:

  • Deep commercial acumen and understanding of the sales cycle and decision-making process within the commercial office furniture industry
