Job Description

Position Title: HEAD - Design Department Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mech. Engineering- Experience: 20 + Years ( Preferably from Tube Mill Equipment Manufacturing ) or Else from Rolling Mill / Packaging Machine manufacturing Company. Job Location:- Faridabad CTC - 20 Lakhs PA Job Description : - Lead the Design department Team / Design new engineering products and processes. - Responsibility for the management of all Design activities including Design freeze / release, Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Design Verification/Product Validation . · Present design, costs, changes and budgetary information effectively to Directors and customers and provide regular progress updates · Liaise closely with all departments to fully understand design requirements · Respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from the Sales team · Create initial feasibility studies · Conceptualize new designs and design revisions · Create detailed costed design blueprints · Provide support to production to improve lead times · Improve reliability performance to reduce or eliminate warrantable issues in the field · Drive forward product development, innovation and ‘think outside the box’ to generate engineering advantage for customers, thinking creatively to develop new/improved solutions · Identify and implement design improvements (functionality, cost, design for manufacture) · 2D and 3D (AutoCAD / Solidworks) to produce designs, drawings and models - Prior Experience of Calculation in Machine Design Companies.
