Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Senior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of software solutions for the metal industry, with a focus on [Specific area of focus within metal industry software, e.g., structural design, fabrication, manufacturing, etc.]. You will utilize your deep understanding of industry practices and your expertise in design software to create innovative and efficient solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of complex software solutions for the metal industry.

Utilize advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and other relevant design software to create detailed and accurate designs.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate representation of structural elements in the model.

Develop detailed BIM models using Revit software, focusing on reinforcement modeling & detailing.

Review project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards and project goals.

Conduct design reviews and ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables.

Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices related BIM modeling.

Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor&aposs degree in [Relevant field, e.g., Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture] or a related discipline.

12-15 years of experience in designing software solutions for the metal industry.

Expert-level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of metal industry practices, standards, and regulations.

Experience with [Specific design areas, e.g., structural steel design, sheet metal design, etc.]

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with project management methodologies.

Proficiency in other design software is a plus (e.g., Tekla Structures, Advance Steel, SolidWorks, Inventor).

Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL Server) is an asset.

Requirement:

Proven Experience as a BIM Modeler with 6-9 years of experience.

Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification.

Strong understanding of structural modeling & detailing principles and construction techniques.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to the metal industry.
