Head of Design Department

As a Senior Jewellery Designer, your role involves leading the design strategy and innovation for the brand. You will define the creative vision and design philosophy, develop seasonal calendars, and research global trends to inspire unique and trend-forward jewellery collections. Your responsibilities also include: - Leading and managing a team of jewellery designers and CAD professionals, providing creative guidance, feedback, and performance reviews to encourage skill development and innovation. - Collaborating with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility, timely delivery, and alignment with pricing, target audience, and production capabilities. - Customizing designs for key clients, premium markets, and special projects while maintaining a balance between creativity and commercial viability. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: - 5-8 years of experience in jewellery design with prior team management experience. - Preference for NIFT graduates with deep knowledge of jewellery trends, materials, techniques, and aesthetics. - Strong sketching, visualization, and design presentation skills along with proficiency in design tools like CorelDRAW, Rhino, and Matrix. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and time management skills with attention to detail and a strong sense of luxury design and branding.,
