Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Design to lead our Mechanical/Mechatronics design team. This role involves managing end-to-end design projects, mentoring a team of engineers, and delivering innovative, high-quality mechanical solutions across various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 8+ design engineers.
• Plan and execute design projects including SPMs, automation systems, lifting equipment, and hydraulic/pneumatic machines.
• Ensure high-quality and manufacturable outputs using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and project management teams to ensure timely execution.
• Drive process improvement, documentation, and innovation within the department.
• Stay updated with industry trends and design standards.

Skills Required:

• Strong background in mechanical and machine design.
• Hands-on experience with various industrial machinery.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
