Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive Sales Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to join our Pune team. The role involves identifying potential clients, providing technical solutions, and driving regional sales growth. A passion for industrial sales and a customer-focused approach are essential Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Pune region. Conduct cold calls, client meetings, and on-site visits to generate leads and drive sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand customer needs and provide appropriate technical solutions and product demonstrations. Prepare and negotiate quotations , close sales, and ensure proper execution of contracts. Offer after-sales support and address client queries or concerns promptly. Track sales activity , analyze market trends, and submit periodic performance reports. Participate in trade exhibitions, industry events, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer-focused solutions. Train customers and internal stakeholders on product usage and applications. Update CRM systems regularly with client interactions and progress reports. Support junior staff in meeting team targets and contribute to collective success. Work closely with reporting managers to align sales strategies and execution plans. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required. Proven experience in technical or industrial sales , preferably in B2B environments. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset. Ability to travel within the region to meet clients and attend industry events. Ownership of a two-wheeler is preferred (travel allowance will be provided). Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office for sales tracking and reporting. Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently as well as within a team. Fluency in English and the local language for effective communication. Show more Show less
