Role Overview

As the Head of Business Development, you’ll be the driving force behind WeLaunch’s revenue and partnership growth. You will lead strategy, identify new opportunities, build relationships with founders and decision-makers, and develop scalable growth initiatives across industries and geographies.You’ll be working closely with the CEO, Marketing, and Operations teams to convert opportunities into long-term strategic collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve growth targets.Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients — primarily startups, SMBs, and digital businesses.Build strategic partnerships with agencies, accelerators, and venture networks.Lead outreach, proposal creation, and negotiations to close high-value deals.Collaborate with marketing to design go-to-market and lead generation campaigns.Track, measure, and report performance metrics — revenue growth, pipeline health, conversion rates, and client retention.Stay ahead of market trends, competitive movements, and emerging technologies.Mentor and eventually build a high-performing sales and partnerships team.

Requirements

4–8 years of experience in business development, growth, or partnerships — ideally within a marketing, SaaS, or consulting firm.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Deep understanding of B2B growth cycles, SaaS ecosystems, and startup dynamics.Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, ambitious, and unafraid to experiment.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first, startup environment.
