Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Business Development to lead our sales expansion across India in the Food & Beverage sector. This role is designed for senior professionals ready for career growth, who will build and spearhead a small, high-turnover sales team focused on both B2B and D2C markets. You will drive distributor channel growth, open new e-commerce accounts, and foster strategic partnerships, all with a disciplined, fast-paced leadership style centered on achieving measurable revenue growth through practical, achievable plans. Key Responsibilities: Identify, generate, and nurture new business opportunities across B2B and D2C channels via field visits, online platforms, and networking. Expand and develop distributor networks, establish new e-commerce accounts, and strengthen relationships with channel partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with cafes, chefs, hospitality providers, and industry stakeholders. Effectively pitch solutions, understand client needs, and coordinate with internal teams for proposals and quotations. Follow up diligently with leads and prospects to ensure timely conversion and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Drive brand visibility through promotional events, exhibitions, and strategic collaborations. Foster and develop strategic partnerships that yield sales and marketing value. Utilize CRM systems and databases to track interactions, leads, sales, and performance metrics. Conduct market research to stay ahead of consumer trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities. Ensure post-sale customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and generate referrals to develop long-term relationships. Monitor sales performance, generate actionable reports, and refine strategies to achieve targets. Collaborate with, mentor, and build a high-performing sales team, managing budgets for optimal growth. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields. Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales leadership within the Food & Beverage industry. Proven success in expanding distribution networks, opening new accounts, and managing commercial channels, including e-commerce. Strong market research, customer analysis, and forecasting skills. Excellent communication skills in English—both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to exceed targets through strategic, data-driven approaches. Creative yet practical thinker, capable of transforming ideas into executable plans. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and dedicated to performance-based earnings. Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital platforms. Willing to travel extensively within the region. Capable of handling customers independently and building lasting relationships.
