Role Overview:

Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within coffee, chocolate, gifting segments, focusing on cafes, restaurants, hospitality, and distribution channels, in line with team guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients, ongoing projects, and partnership opportunities.
  • Support the expansion of distributor networks, onboarding new partners, and opening new accounts on e-commerce and commercial platforms.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer loyalty and retention.
  • Coordinate product presentations, samples, feedback collection, and customization support with internal teams and clients.
  • Create and deliver compelling, tailored proposals; negotiate deals to achieve or surpass sales targets.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote our offerings, network, and gather market insights.
  • Track sales pipelines, project statuses, and client interactions; provide weekly performance updates and forecasts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food & Beverage, or related fields.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the food & beverage, gifting, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with the coffee, chocolate, gifting, or hospitality sectors is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client pipelines and foster long-term relationships.
  • Basic knowledge of market research, trend analysis, and sales forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
  • Result-oriented with strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
