Head of Business Development – F&B Real Estate Leasing

Location: PAN India (Travel Required)

Grospace is a fast-growing commercial real estate advisory firm helping F&B, retail, and lifestyle brands find and lease the right spaces across India. We work closely with mall developers, high-street landlords, and property owners to create strategic placements for brands nationwide.


Role Overview

The Head of Business Development will lead Grospace’s nationwide expansion efforts, managing the BD and scouting teams while driving brand partnerships, market entry strategies, and high-value lease negotiations. This role is ideal for a senior leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can oversee operations across multiple cities.


Key Responsibilities

Lead & Manage Teams: Supervise BD and scouting teams Pan India; set KPIs, allocate targets, and ensure performance.


Brand Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with top F&B, retail, and lifestyle brands to drive expansion.


Market Expansion: Identify new markets, malls, and high streets for brand placements and growth.


Deal Negotiations: Lead discussions and finalize lease agreements, LOIs, and commercials with brands and landlords.


Coordination: Work with legal, finance, and management teams for documentation, payments, and compliance.


Reporting: Present detailed weekly and monthly reports to management, outlining performance and opportunities.


Team Training & Development: Mentor and guide teams to improve market intelligence and close more deals.


Requirements

7–12+ years of experience in real estate leasing, retail expansion, or F&B brand acquisition


Proven success in managing multi-city or PAN India business development teams


Strong network with brands, developers, landlords, and mall owners


Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills


Ability to handle multiple projects and work under deadlines


Willingness to travel across India for market visits and brand meetings
