Hiring an "AVP_ IT Infrastructure " includes Internal IT Ops, NetOps, SysOps, CloudOps & Cybersecurity for a global IT service provider based out of Hyderabad

Lead and expand our infrastructure and cloud service lines. This role blends strategic leadership, client engagement, pre-sales solutioning, and delivery excellence for a mid-tier IT services organization catering to global clients across industries.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical depth, business acumen, and execution rigor, capable of shaping differentiated offerings and driving growth through innovation, efficiency, and client trust.

Key Responsibilities

Practice & Strategy Leadership

Define and execute the roadmap for Infrastructure, Cloud, IT Operations, and Cybersecurity services.

Build value-driven, outcome-based offerings aligned to client needs — including CloudOps, AIOps, FinOps, Zero Trust, and IT modernization.

Establish best practices, frameworks, and reusable IPs to scale delivery and pre-sales effectiveness.

Client Engagement & Pre-Sales

Partner with sales, delivery, and solution architects in client pursuits, RFP responses, and solution presentations.

Engage directly with CXO and IT leadership to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

Drive customer success through proactive governance, quarterly reviews, and continuous improvement.

Articulate our Unique Value Proposition (UVP) through case studies, reference architectures, and differentiated capabilities.

Delivery & Operations Excellence

Oversee end-to-end delivery for infrastructure and cloud engagements, ensuring SLA, uptime, and performance targets are consistently met.

Govern IT Operations, Service Desk, Cloud Management, and Data Center services through robust KPIs and automation.

Champion adoption of AI-driven operations, observability platforms, and automation tools to enhance efficiency.

Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and standardization across delivery engagements.

Cybersecurity & Compliance (nice to have)

Oversee enterprise-grade cybersecurity initiatives including SOC operations, vulnerability management, identity governance, and compliance.

Define and embed security-by-design principles into all infrastructure and cloud solutions.

Assist in adherence to global compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).

Innovation & Thought Leadership

Stay ahead of market trends to create new go-to-market offerings in emerging areas (Edge, GenAI in InfraOps, Hybrid Cloud).

Collaborate with alliance and marketing teams to position differentiated propositions.

Publish whitepapers, case studies, and participate in industry events to build brand credibility.

People & Capability Building

Lead a high-performing team across delivery, architecture, and support functions.

Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.

Build next-gen capabilities through training, mentoring, and certifications.

Required Experience & Skills

15–20 years of total experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security services with 5+ years in a leadership role.

Proven track record managing client-facing delivery and pre-sales in a mid-tier IT services or managed services environment.

Hands-on exposure to:

Two or more Multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)

ITSM / ITIL, DevOps, AIOps

Cybersecurity operations

Data center and end-user support services

Nice to have Compliance exposure (SOC, ISO audits)

Strong presentation, commercial, and negotiation skills.

Proven experience in scaling delivery operations and building reusable solution accelerators.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice to have Certifications any of: AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, CISM/CISSP, ITIL Expert, PMP, or equivalent.
