Role : Mongodb Database administrator Skills : Mongo DBA , performance tuning , cassandra Dba Location : Chennai , Notice Period : 0 - 30 days max Job Description : Possess in-depth knowledge of MongoDB architecture, installation, and administration.Manage MongoDB, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.Identify and resolve complex performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and resource contention issues in MongoDB.Set up proactive monitoring and alerting for database health and performance issues.Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures to ensure data recoverability.Create and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Respond to alerts and incidents promptly to minimize service disruptions.Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 2 support and other teams to address escalated incidents.Troubleshooting replication issue and fixing instance recovery issue. Roles and Responsibilities:- Cassandra cluster planning which includes Data sizing estimation, and identify hardwarerequirements based on the estimated data size and transaction volume.Create, install, and configure a Cassandra clusterUse tools to monitor cluster availability and performanceExport data into different data formatsUse primary index and secondary indexes correctly to perform queries on dataBackup and restore data to secure the system in the event of failureTune the performance of Java Virtual Machine (JVM), caches, and compactionCassandra Data Modelling, NoSQL Architecture, Keyspace, Table, Index creation, User creation &access administration.Administration, Maintenance and supporting of the cluster using Opscenter, Devcenter, Linux, SparkCQL Queries to support Integration with Cassandra ClusterCreate and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Respond to alerts and incidents promptly to minimize service disruptions.Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 2 support and other teams to address escalated incidents.
