As a MongoDB Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Possess in-depth knowledge of MongoDB architecture, installation, and administration. - Manage MongoDB, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning. - Identify and resolve complex performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and resource contention issues in MongoDB. - Set up proactive monitoring and alerting for database health and performance issues. - Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures to ensure data recoverability. - Create and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. - Respond to alerts and incidents promptly to minimize service disruptions. - Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 2 support and other teams to address escalated incidents. As a Cassandra Database Administrator, your roles and responsibilities will include: - Cassandra cluster planning which includes Data sizing estimation and identifying hardware requirements based on the estimated data size and transaction volume. - Creating, installing, and configuring a Cassandra cluster. - Using tools to monitor cluster availability and performance. - Exporting data into different data formats. - Using primary index and secondary indexes correctly to perform queries on data. - Backup and restore data to secure the system in the event of failure. - Tuning the performance of Java Virtual Machine (JVM), caches, and compaction. - Cassandra Data Modeling, NoSQL Architecture, Keyspace, Table, Index creation, User creation & access administration. - Administration, Maintenance, and supporting of the cluster using Opscenter, Devcenter, Linux, Spark. - Writing CQL Queries to support Integration with Cassandra Cluster. - Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. - Responding to alerts and incidents promptly to minimize service disruptions. - Collaborating with Level 1 and Level 2 support and other teams to address escalated incidents.,
