Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic leader having robust experience in clinical trial / pharmaceutical industry, having worked in RLD and Comparator Drug Sourcing. The role primarily includes overseeing the company’s international supply chain, sourcing, regulatory compliance, business expansion, and operational efficiencies. The role requires strategic leadership, business development acumen, and a strong grasp of pharmaceutical regulations and global market trends.

Responsibilities:

• Independently lead, direct, and manage the comprehensive global sourcing & supply chain activities; and drive top line & bottom-line targets.

• Develop and implement market strategies for comparator drug (RLD) supplies for the US, Europe and emerging markets. Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

• Oversee all aspects of global sourcing and procurement, ensuring best-in-class supplier relationships, cost-effectiveness, and quality control across all locations.

• Create, maintain, and monitor key metrices to ensure flawless supplies and deliverables of all the orders. • Closely monitor and track inquiries, orders, despatches, and timelines. Guide the team for mitigating risk and deviations, and support the communication to the various stakeholders.

• Develop a mechanism to ensure real time updates are made available with the clients, and proactively resolve client or supplier queries.

• Implement compliant & efficient distribution solutions and control end-to-end logistics processes for the distribution of products in a complex and high-regulated environment.

• Monitor market trends, geopolitical risks, and potential supply disruptions, and develop risk mitigation strategies.

• Build and strengthen business relationships with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

• Establish and lead key account management team to drive business growth across various models.

• Drive and conduct periodical reviews and oversee operational activities to enhance business performance.

• Coordinate with global business development teams operating remotely across multiple geographies.

• Participate in domestic / international conferences, exhibitions, and business meetings to engage with current & probable clients / suppliers, strengthen global partnerships, and explore new market opportunities.

• Conduct market research and provide insights to guide corporate strategy and business expansion.

• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinical trial teams, CROs, and sponsors to strengthen industry presence.

• Identify new molecules, assess market entry potential, and develop strategies for product access.

• Nurture, mentor, and develop talent in the team and build strong bench strength.  

Education:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Science subjects, or International Business.

Experience:

Years : 15 to 20 years’ in global sourcing / procurement, RLD / Comparator sourcing, Clinical Supply.

Industry :

Clinical or Pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Expertise in global pharmaceutical supply chain management and RLD / Comparator Sourcing.

• Proven techno-commercial expertise and financial acumen with the ability to drive business growth and strategic initiatives.

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
