Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Maintenance
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records using advanced accounting systems.
- Uphold financial data integrity in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
2. Accounts Management
- Supervise revenue and expense accounts, including bank and cash transaction reconciliations.
- Review, prepare, and finalize financial statements and reports within specified deadlines.
3. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Oversee preparation and filing of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) returns as per legal requirements.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, EPF, ESI, and other statutory obligations in India.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable local and international compliance frameworks.
4. Payroll Accounting
- Manage payroll accounting, including computation of employee salaries, statutory deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure precise reflection of payroll in financial statements and systems.
5. Invoicing & Billing
- Oversee end-to-end invoicing and billing procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with operations and client servicing teams to maintain seamless financial operations.
6. Month-End & Year-End Closures
- Lead monthly and annual closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit preparations.
- Ensure financial data completeness, accuracy, and readiness for internal/external audits.
7. Cash & Bank Management
- Monitor and control cash and bank transactions.
- Ensure reconciliation, resolve discrepancies, and maintain robust internal controls.
8. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization within the finance function.
- Drive implementation of best practices and initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and compliance.
9. Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, and other departments on budgeting, financial planning, and internal policies.
- Support business continuity and decision-making through proactive financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CA/MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably across both Indian and UAE regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Experience in payroll, audits, financial reporting, and process improvements.
