Job Title: Head – Facility & Infrastructure Operations


Location: Sector 9, Noida (with field travel across gym network)

Role Overview


The Head – Facility & Infrastructure Operations will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of all WTF gym properties across India. This is a leadership role that demands deep operational expertise, strong technical understanding, and hands-on ownership. The person will oversee everything related to infrastructure — from electricity, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, and gym equipment to CCTV, biometrics, internet, housekeeping, and safety compliance. The role’s primary objective is to maintain 100% operational uptime and ensure that every WTF gym delivers a world-class experience 16 hours a day, 365 days a year.


Key Responsibilities and Deliverables


The Facility Head will take complete ownership of the physical and technical infrastructure of all gyms, including planning, upkeep, and optimization. They will ensure that every property meets the brand’s design and safety standards through regular audits, preventive maintenance, and prompt issue resolution. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors for repairs, installations, and upgrades while maintaining cost efficiency and quality assurance.

A major responsibility will be managing all gym equipment — treadmills, cross-trainers, strength machines, and free weights — to ensure they remain in perfect working condition. The individual must implement a preventive maintenance schedule, track AMC contracts, maintain service records, and coordinate with OEMs for repairs and part replacements. The expected KPI for this responsibility includes maintaining equipment uptime of at least 98% and ensuring maintenance issues are resolved within 24 hours.


The role also covers oversight of all utilities and technology systems such as electricity, HVAC, plumbing, CCTV, biometric access, and internet. The Facility Head must ensure seamless connectivity and functionality across all systems, drive energy optimization initiatives, and maintain a stable technical environment. They should also collaborate with the tech and compliance teams to integrate physical systems with the company’s digital dashboards.

The KPIs for this area include achieving 95% compliance on infrastructure and safety audits, maintaining consistent service levels across all gyms, and driving energy efficiency improvements of at least 10% year on year.


In addition to infrastructure management, the person will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence in housekeeping, sanitation, and safety compliance. They must implement daily checklists, monitor cleanliness scores, and train on-ground staff to maintain hygiene and presentation standards aligned with the WTF brand. The KPI target for this area is a housekeeping audit rating of 4.5/5 or higher and 100% adherence to cleanliness schedules.


The Head – Facility Operations will also manage vendor partnerships and budgets. This includes selecting reliable vendors for maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment, negotiating the best possible rates, tracking service quality, and ensuring spending remains within the approved budget. Vendor performance will be monitored based on response times, quality of service, and adherence to AMC timelines. The target is to maintain cost variance within ±5% of planned budgets and ensure that all contracts and AMCs are renewed and executed on time.


Equally important is people management. The Facility Head will lead a team of facility supervisors, technicians, and housekeeping staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and accountable. Weekly team meetings, monthly audits, and daily tracking of open issues will form part of the management rhythm. The KPIs for this area include 100% completion of audit reports, timely submission of daily maintenance logs, and consistent team compliance with operational SOPs. The person will also be expected to submit periodic reports to the senior management, summarizing key issues, escalations, cost variances, and infrastructure improvements.


Ideal Candidate Profile


The ideal candidate will have 8–15 years of experience in facility and infrastructure management within the fitness, retail, hospitality, or real estate sectors. They must possess a solid technical understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and gym equipment operations. The candidate should have prior experience managing multi-site operations and vendor relationships while leading teams across multiple locations. Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, cost management expertise, and an execution-focused mindset are essential. The role demands a leader who can operate independently, manage on-ground challenges with speed and accuracy, and take complete ownership of results. The person should also be tech-savvy, comfortable using dashboards, reporting tools, and maintenance apps to ensure data-driven decision-making. Willingness to travel extensively for audits and inspections is mandatory.


Performance & Success Metrics


Success in this role will be measured by tangible performance outcomes: maintaining equipment uptime above 98%, resolving all maintenance issues within 24 hours, achieving at least 95% compliance on facility safety and operational audits, maintaining a minimum 4.5/5 rating on cleanliness and presentation standards, completing monthly infrastructure audits on time, and driving year-on-year operational cost efficiency through better vendor management and preventive maintenance.


Compensation and Work Structure


The compensation range for this role is between ?60,000 to ?1,00,000 per month, depending on experience, scope, and performance during interviews. This is a full-time, on-ground leadership role based out of WTF Headquarters in Sector 9, Noida, with regular travel to gyms across Delhi NCR and other cities.
