Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Head Baker with 10-18 years of experience to lead our bakery team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry-making and bakery operations.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee daily bakery operations, including dough preparation, baking, and decorating.
Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Supervise and train a team of bakers and pastry chefs to ensure high-quality products.
Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and housekeeping, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and excellence in all products.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in bakery management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
Strong knowledge of pastry-making techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
