Location: Lakshadweep (On-site)

Reporting To: CEO / Top Management

About the Role

Sea Shells Beach Resort is seeking a senior, hands-on Head Accountant to oversee complete accounting and financial operations across all resort properties in Lakshadweep. This is an on-site leadership role involving direct reporting to the CEO and active participation in revenue analysis, expense control, and strategic financial advisory.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Oversight & Reporting

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for all Sea Shells Beach Resort properties
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the CEO
• Track, analyze, and report on:
• Revenue performance
• Expenditures
• Profit margins
• Cash flow position
• Ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency across all financial records

Cost Control & Management Advisory

• Identify areas of cost leakage and unnecessary expenditure
• Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to management to reduce costs
• Monitor and control:
• Food & beverage costing
• Inventory and procurement expenses
• Payroll and staff-related costs
• Vendor bills and operational spending
• Act as a financial advisor to management, not limited to bookkeeping

Compliance, Controls & Audits

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including GST, TDS, and other applicable filings
• Handle audits and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks
• Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting SOPs
• Ensure timely reconciliations and financial closures

Operations & On-Ground Oversight

• Supervise daily accounting operations and support staff
• Oversee billing systems, POS reconciliation, and collections
• Travel between islands and properties to:
• Collect financial reports
• Inspect accounting records
• Verify inventories and expense claims
• Ensure compliance and discipline at property level

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
