Job Title: Reservation Executive Location: Sea Shells Beach Resort, Lakshadweep Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Reservation Executive at Sea Shells Beach Resort is a key customer service and administrative role, responsible for managing and coordinating all reservation activities via phone, updating records on Google Drive, and ensuring seamless coordination for all resort activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Reservation Management Handle all inbound calls related to reservations, inquiries, and guest services. Provide accurate and detailed information to potential and existing guests regarding room rates, availability, packages, and resort amenities. Confirm reservations, manage cancellations, and update guest information in the system promptly. 2. Database and Record Management Maintain up-to-date records of reservations and booking details on Google Drive. Regularly update and monitor all guest and booking information for accuracy. Prepare daily and weekly reports for management, summarizing reservation data and occupancy rates. 3. Guest Relations Deliver outstanding customer service over the phone, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints with a customer-first approach. Provide recommendations on resort activities, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. 4. Coordination of Resort Activities Work closely with other departments to coordinate and manage all resort activities (e.g., island tours, water sports, dining experiences). Ensure that the scheduling of activities aligns with guest preferences and availability. Maintain effective communication with activity teams to ensure smooth operation and high guest satisfaction. 5. Administrative Support Support the front office and guest services team with administrative duties as needed. Assist in managing email inquiries, confirmations, and follow-ups related to bookings. Stay updated on resort policies, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to guests. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, tourism, or a related field preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (especially Google Drive). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of organization. Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. Desired Skills: Experience in using hotel reservation software. Familiarity with the Lakshadweep region, local attractions, and cultural understanding. A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for hospitality.
