Core Responsibilities The general duties of an accountant are consistent, regardless of language skills, and include: Financial Management & Reporting: Maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, trial balances, and financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements). Accounts Payable & Receivable: Managing invoices, processing payments, monitoring outstanding debts, and implementing collection procedures. Reconciliations and Audits: Performing timely bank reconciliations, managing intercompany accounts, assisting with internal and external audits, and preparing necessary documentation. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and making recommendations for cost control.
