GSM Manager
Job Summary
Acts as the contractual point of contact between suppliers and the business while identifying potential opportunities of for negotiations for favorability within the contract.Responsible for the procurement life cycle of products and services for assigned suppliers.Work closely with the business units and the shared services organization, leading teams to development short- and long-term sourcing strategies and aligned with category strategies.Drive the execution of procurement policies which meet the needs of internal customer requirements.Expertise in using Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to analyze spend data, track KPIs, and support sourcing decisions with data-driven insights.Has experience with RFI/RFP/RFQ execution.Key Responsibilities
For Category Knowledge SG&A
Drafting and redlining of Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and renewals for suppliers within HR services, professional/legal services, office supplies, travel, etc.
For Supplier Governance Routines
Build and assist with implementing structured governance practices, including supplier dashboards, and performance scorecards.
For Assigned Suppliers
Lead supplier governance routines, as defined by Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management policies and supplier tieringEnsure all documentation is accurate and maintained within the assigned data tools
For Renewal Or New Business Needs
Pro-actively prepare to renew / re-source agreements with expiring term datesIdentify and pre-qualify potential suppliers based on business requirementsConstruct financial and qualitative models to provide fact-based assessments of suppliers’ abilities to meet / exceed Strada’s needs at competitive price pointsLead Internal teams through the strategic sourcing process transactionsDraft and negotiate contracts, working with Legal, Finance and Business partnersReview/approve purchase order agreements for the required goods / servicesEnsure Strada’s business strategies drive renewal and/or sourcing efforts, optimizing supplier base and financial targetsComplete assigned special projects, meeting schedule and quality requirementsDemonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple projects with a pipeline of sourcing activities and deliver on associated timelinesAdopt and utilize Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management tools and reporting mechanisms.Provide necessary visibility to Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management leaders; escalate issues appropriately.Proactively maintain and build category expertise by staying informed of industry trends and technology shifts.Experienced with spend segment categorization methodology and utilization of spend data to drive category specific strategy and management.
