About the Role:
As a Growth Manager at Cult EBO business, you will be crucial in driving the profitability and growth of our fitness apparel, footwear, and equipment business. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective pricing strategies that optimize gross margin while maintaining strong store conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market research to analyze competitor pricing, consumer behavior, and industry trends within the fitness retail space.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with Cult Store's brand positioning and target audience.
- Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales, gross margin, and store conversion.
Promotional Planning:
- Create and execute promotional campaigns that drive sales and increase customer engagement, leveraging Cult Store's unique brand identity and fitness community.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to develop effective promotional strategies that support overall business objectives.
- Monitor the performance of promotional activities and make necessary adjustments.
Gross Margin Management:
- Track and analyze monthly gross margin performance against established targets for apparel, footwear, and fitness equipment.
- Identify opportunities to improve gross margin through pricing adjustments, inventory management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate the impact of margin-diluting factors.
Store Conversion Optimization:
- Analyze store performance data to identify areas for improvement in conversion rates for apparel, footwear, and fitness equipment.
- Collaborate with store operations and merchandising teams to implement initiatives that enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Monitor the impact of pricing and promotional strategies on store conversion.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance indicators related to pricing, promotions, and gross margin for apparel, footwear, and fitness equipment.
- Prepare regular reports on pricing performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Identify trends and patterns in sales data to inform pricing decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in pricing or merchandising roles, preferably in the retail/ e-comm industry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent understanding of retail math, including margin calculations and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for fitness and a deep understanding of the fitness retail market.
