Role & responsibilities Build, strengthen, and maintain strategic relationships with politicians, bureaucrats, government departments, and other key influencers . Drive all government and administrative liaisons related to land, licenses, factory approvals, environmental clearances, labor laws, etc. Act as the companys representative in front of government authorities, regulatory bodies, and political leaders . Proactively anticipate and mitigate regulatory risks impacting the business. Facilitate resolution of legal or operational roadblocks through government or administrative channels. Act as a key advisor to management on policy matters, government reforms , and political climate relevant to the industry. Ensure smooth coordination with law enforcement, local municipal bodies, state departments, and central ministries as required. Assist in drafting communication, proposals, and documentation for government approvals and representation. Lead a team of regional/state liaisoning officers and manage external consultants and lobbying agencies. Preferred candidate profile 2535 years of proven experience in liaisoning roles in FMCG, Real Estate, Infrastructure, or Large Corporates . Well-established and active network among political leaders, IAS/IPS officers, and senior government officials across states. Excellent understanding of Indian governance, administrative procedures, and compliance frameworks. Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with high levels of discretion and confidentiality. No restrictions on age; retired officials with strong networks are also welcome.
