The position
As an Associate Global Project Lead, you will lead and support key product lifecycle initiatives for mature insulin brands. Develop and execute project plans to ensure timely completion of projects and key deliverables. Shape key projects to set the long-term future of Novo Nordisk’s mature insulin portfolio. Drive governance reporting, including monthly GPP reporting and risk reporting.
- Lead/Co-lead Novo Nordisk’s pump strategy project, including updating the strategy, developing market insights, and managing partnerships with closed-loop system manufacturers.
- Plan and execute In-market Insulin GPT meetings and ad-hoc activities, including agenda planning, presenter coordination, and follow-up actions.
- Evolves the long-term daily insulin portfolio strategy in collaboration with the GPT chair, defining the long-term portfolio aspirations while overseeing execution of GIPS.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Manage budgets and ensure timely reporting to governance, including monthly reports and risk grids.
- Monitor metrics to ensure project objectives are met and make modifications as necessary.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (B.Sc), Engineering (B.Tech).
- Master’s Degree (preferable) from a well-recognized institute .
- Good academic track records and grades .
- Fluency in written and oral English .
- 8+ years of overall experience in leading commercial pharma projects/pharma brand management .
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex data-sets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture .
- Strong experience with project management .
- Experience with current NN systems is preferred .
- Strong collaboration with complex and multiple stakeholders across different functional areas (e.g. Medical and Science, Regulatory, Product Supply, Commercial) and other internal stakeholders .
- Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations and summaries to executives .
- Ability to work across the portfolio and different brand perspectives and timing of events .
- Strong communication skills and high quality output .
- Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (VBA, pivot etc.) and MS Word are a must.
- Outstanding in internal communications and with a strong medical and analytical mindset .
- Excellent in stakeholders’ management and leading cross-functional tasks/deliverables.
- Demonstrate leadership with stakeholders by steering them towards successful delivery of the project .
- Conceptual, analytical & tactical thinking, strategic thought process .
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English .
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence all levels of the business .
- Demonstrate capability to take ownership and accountability of deliverables assigned and deliver in high quality within tight deadlines .
- Ability to get an overview of data sets and interpret results, generate insights and recommend strategies .
