Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy and roadmap for jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Establish and enforce quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process production, and finished jewellery pieces to identify defects or non-conformities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and procurement, to address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to optimize processes and reduce defects.
• Provide guidance and training to employees at all levels to enhance quality awareness and foster a culture of quality excellence.
• Implement quality control techniques such as statistical process control, root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to drive process improvements.
• Responsible to reduce the Reworks and Rejections.
• Meeting with the Customers during the factory visit and understand the quality requirements.
• Responsible to prepare all database related to quality.
• Team Handling of QC and QA dept.
• Responsible to prepare monthly MIS for submission to Management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education

  : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical);

• Experience

  : 17+ years of experience in quality roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position in manufacturing.

• Certifications

  : Certified Six Sigma Black Belt / Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP)
• Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to handle cross-functional and cross-location quality challenges
