Role Overview

The General Manager - Procurement will oversee the procurement function, ensuring effective

sourcing of materials, services, and suppliers for office construction, design, and operational needs.

This role will focus on driving cost efficiency, maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products, and optimizing the procurement process to align with WorkSquare’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the construction and furnishing of tailor-made office spaces.

• Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and

service providers. Negotiate favorable terms to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of materials and services.

• Real Estate Acquisitions: Collaborate with the real estate and operations teams to procure properties, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

• Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities for cost-saving while maintaining quality and efficiency in procurement processes.

• Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

• Project Coordination: Work closely with the design and project teams to ensure procurement is aligned with project timelines, budgets, and specifications.

• Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance, including quality control, timeliness, and compliance, and take corrective action when necessary.

• Sustainability: Promote sustainable procurement practices, ensuring that WorkSquare’s environmental goals are integrated into procurement processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in real estate, construction, or a related industry.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale procurement operations with a focus on office spaces, infrastructure, and real estate.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in procurement processes, cost analysis, and supplier management.

• Understanding of market trends and supply chain dynamics in real estate and office space management.

• Proficient in procurement software and tools.
