About Roundglass Foundation:

Roundglass Foundation is pursuing a bold vision to bring abundance and prosperity back to the state of Punjab in India through philanthropic initiatives supporting under-served rural and urban communities. Since our founding in 2018, we have been engaged in a wide range of far-reaching projects, directly involving village communities in building opportunity and sustainable development in the region. Our Model Village initiatives have impacted the lives of almost 19,00,000 people in over 1800 villages across the state through our programmes clubbed under the thematic areas: Environment & Sustainability, youngster and Women Empowerment.

On the Learn Punjab front, RG Foundation has already activated 160 Learn Labs which work with almost 4000 children across the villages of Punjab.

About the role:

The Lead – Change Maker will be the driving force of transformation on the ground, working at the intersection of community mobilization, social innovation, and local leadership development.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on action — directly engaging with communities, building trust, mobilizing local youngster and women, and nurturing community champions who will sustain change long after interventions end.

You will be the bridge between RGF’s vision and community aspirations, translating ideas into impactful, community-owned development.

What you’ll do:

Community Engagement & Mobilization

• Build deep, trusting relationships with local communities, leaders, youngster, and grassroots groups.
• Identify local challenges and opportunities (education, health, livelihoods, gender equity, sustainability) and co-design solutions with community members.
• Inspire and mentor local youngster and volunteers to take ownership of community development initiatives.
• Conduct door-to-door outreach, awareness drives, focus group discussions, and community meetings.

Program Design & Implementation

• Design and implement integrated community development programs aligned with RGF’s strategic priorities.
• Oversee daily program operations, ensuring initiatives are impactful, inclusive, and sustainable.
• Coordinate with RGF’s central teams to ensure timely delivery of resources, content, and technical support.

Leadership & Capacity Building

• Identify, nurture, and empower local champions and youngster leaders to become long-term community change agents.
• Facilitate training, mentoring, and capacity-building sessions for community volunteers and local stakeholders.
• Build local networks and coalitions that can continue development efforts independently.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning

• Track outcomes, collect field data, and report impact stories and best practices.
• Provide community feedback to inform RGF’s strategy and improve program design.
• Showcase success stories and community case studies internally and externally.

Partnerships & Collaboration

• Collaborate with panchayats, local government departments, schools, NGOs, and small businesses to build support ecosystems.
• Represent RGF at local forums, stakeholder meetings, and events to advocate for community needs and amplify impact.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strategic Fundraising Expertise:

  Proven success in developing and executing large-scale fundraising strategies across diverse revenue streams.

• Stakeholder & Relationship Management:

  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with donors, government agencies, and corporate partners.

• Communication Excellence:

  Exceptional writing and presentation skills for persuasive proposals, pitches, and reports.

• Analytical Mindset:

  Ability to interpret data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and improve outcomes.

• Leadership:

  Experience leading cross-functional teams and inspiring performance through coaching and mentorship.

• Public Representation:

  Comfortable representing the organization in high-stakes public forums and advocating for its mission.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, International Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in partnerships/fundraising, preferably in international development, with a strong track record of securing significant multi-source funding.
• Familiarity with international fundraising regulations, compliance, and donor reporting.
• Proficiency in donor management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
