Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with at least 3 plus years of experience working with Node and React. This role needs hands on development to build and support SaaS products and web applications. Your main focus will be ongoing development and support of large SaaS products. 

To succeed, you should know Node, databases, and Web APIs well, have a good eye for UI, and strong problem-solving skills. Experience with Next.js is a good to have. 

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently to develop and maintain high quality web apps using Node and React 
• Write clean, efficient, well documented code 
• Build and ship new features and improvements 
• Troubleshoot issues and help with complex support queries that need deeper analysis 
• Join team rituals like stand ups, planning, demos, and retros 
• Optimize performance for speed and scale 
• Communicate clearly with team members, stakeholders, and clients 
• Stay current with new trends and best practices 

Requirements

Necessary skills and tools 

· Node.js with Express or Nest 

· React with modern hooks and state management 

· JavaScript and TypeScript 

· REST API design and integration 

· SQL with PostgreSQL or MySQL 

· Git and GitHub 

· Basic Docker 

· Cloud deploy on AWS or Render or Fly.io 

· Environment variables and secrets management  

Good to have 

· Next.js and Tailwind CSS 

· Redis for caching or queues 

· ORM Prisma or Sequelize or TypeORM 

· Testing with Jest and React Testing Library or Playwright or Cypress 

· Error monitoring Sentry 

· Logging and basic metrics 

· Payment gateway integration Stripe or Razorpay 

· Third party API integrations 

· Basic security knowledge including auth with JWT or OAuth 

· CSV and JSON export 

· Experience with OpenAI API  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer applications or information technology or related field 
• 3 plus years as a Software Engineer or Full Stack Developer with proven experience in Node and Web APIs and React
