Job Description

identifying, on-boarding, developing, and managing franchise partners

Key Responsibilities

Franchise Development & Expansion

  • Identify potential franchise partners and evaluate feasibility for new locations.
  • Lead franchise on-boarding, documentation, agreements, and handover processes.
  • Support market expansion plans in line with company growth strategy.
  • Coordinate with legal and finance teams for franchise contracts and compliance.

Franchise Operations Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for franchise partners.
  • Ensure franchisees comply with brand SOPs, food safety standards, hygiene norms, and quality benchmarks.
  • Monitor daily operations, sales performance, costs, and profitability.
  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of franchise outlets.

Training & Support

  • Facilitate initial and ongoing training for franchise staff on:
  • Food preparation and handling
  • Quality and hygiene standards
  • Customer service protocols
  • POS and inventory systems
  • Provide operational guidance to resolve day-to-day challenges.

Brand & Quality Control

  • Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, menu standards, and pricing policies.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to ensure FSSAI and statutory compliance.

Sales, Marketing & Growth

  • Support franchisees in executing local marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze sales trends and suggest improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on national and regional campaigns.

Supply Chain & Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate with supply chain and production teams for timely supply of raw materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or wastage.
  • Ensure franchisees follow approved vendor and procurement policies.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of

    food operations, QSR or food manufacturing processes

  • Franchise development and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of

    FSSAI, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards

  • Financial acumen: P&L understanding, cost control, ROI analysis
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Food Technology, or related field.

Experience

  • 2-5 years

    of experience in franchise management, food operations, QSR, or hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-location franchise operations.
  • Exposure to startup or high-growth environments preferred.
