Job Description

The Franchise Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the QSR brand through strategic franchise sales and expansion. This role involves identifying potential franchise partners, guiding them through the evaluation and approval process, and ensuring alignment with the brand’s standards and growth objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

Franchise Development & Sales

  • Identify and evaluate potential franchisees through lead generation, qualification, and nurturing.
  • Develop and execute the franchise recruitment strategy to expand in targeted markets.
  • Manage the end-to-end franchise sales process including inquiries, presentations, financial assessments, and legal documentation.
  • Represent the brand at franchise expos, industry events, and investor meetings.

Market Research & Site Evaluation

  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential regions for expansion.
  • Collaborate with the real estate and operations team to evaluate site feasibility and location viability.
  • Provide input on site selection and trade area assessments.

Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Work closely with new franchisees to ensure smooth onboarding and training in coordination with operations and training teams.
  • Support franchisees through the initial store setup, opening process, and handover to operations.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with franchise partners to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Develop annual franchise development plans aligned with the company’s overall growth strategy.
  • Track and report KPIs related to franchise leads, conversions, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on development progress, trends, and issues.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in franchise development or business development, preferably within the QSR or retail sector.
  • Proven track record of successful franchise sales and network expansion.
  • Strong understanding of franchise models, legal frameworks, and financial evaluations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required for site visits, meetings, and industry events.



Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM tools and franchise management software.
  • Knowledge of local market regulations, especially related to food and beverage operations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
