Role Overview:

FP&A Techno-Functional Analyst

This role requires a combination of business acumen, data understanding, and cross-functional collaboration to translate business needs into scalable system and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• ERP / System Implementation:

• Partner with IT and Finance to support ERP or system transformation projects (Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc.), focusing on financial data flows and reporting structures.

• FP&A Partnership:

• Work closely with FP&A teams to understand key financial drivers — revenue, margin, cost, variance, and forecast accuracy — and ensure systems capture these accurately.

• Business Requirement Gathering:

• Lead structured discussions with business stakeholders to capture functional requirements, define problem statements, and translate them into IT specifications.

• Stakeholder Management:

• Act as a bridge between IT, Finance, and Business teams — ensuring smooth communication, alignment, and timely issue resolution.

• Data Mapping & Modelling:

• Understand and map financial data from source to reporting layers; assist in building financial data models for analysis and dashboarding.

• Reporting & Analytics (Power BI / Workday):

• Partner with the reporting team to design and validate dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics that reflect true business performance.

• Variance & Trend Analysis:

• Support validation and testing of reports related to P&L, cost centers, margins, and variance; ensure system outputs align with finance logic.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Identify process gaps, data inconsistencies, and automation opportunities to improve finance reporting accuracy and timeliness.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–9 years of experience in

  FP&A, Business Finance, or Finance Transformation

  roles.
• Hands-on involvement in

  ERP implementation or enhancement projects

  .
• Working knowledge of

  Power BI, Workday Reporting, or similar analytics platforms

  .
• Strong understanding of

  financial statements, variance analysis, and margin/cost metrics

  .
• Proficient in

  data mapping, reconciliation, and modeling

  .
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, business, and IT teams.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance

  , Commerce, Accounting, Engineering, or Information Systems

  .
• MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant preferred.
• Certifications in ERP (Workday, SAP, Oracle) or analytics tools (Power BI) are a plus.
