Founder's Office - Venture Up Location: On-site (India) Employment Type: Full-time Department: Strategy & Operations About VentureUp VentureUp is a specialized fundraising platform that connects promising startups with the right investors across all funding stages. We help founders explore comprehensive funding opportunities and find their ideal investor match through our extensive network of incubators, accelerators, angel investors, and VCs who share our vision of supporting innovative entrepreneurs. Role Overview Join our Founder's Office as a strategic right-hand to our leadership team. You'll be at the center of our mission to democratize access to funding, driving key initiatives that enhance our platform and expand our investor network while gaining deep exposure to the startup ecosystem and investment landscape. What You'll Do Investor Relations & Network Expansion Build and maintain relationships with investors across various funding stages Research and onboard new investors to expand our comprehensive funding network Coordinate investor meetings and facilitate founder-investor connections Track investor preferences and funding criteria to improve matching algorithms Founder Support & Platform Development Assist in developing resources to help founders improve their pitch presentations Support the creation of educational content on investor expectations and fundraising best practices Contribute to platform enhancements that streamline the funding process Analyze successful funding stories across different stages to identify best practices Executive Support Prepare materials for board meetings, investor presentations, and client pitches Manage special projects and initiatives as directed by the founder Coordinate high-priority meetings and strategic planning sessions Serve as a liaison between leadership and various stakeholders Market Intelligence & Strategy Analyze funding trends and market dynamics across different investment stages Research emerging sectors and investment opportunities Support strategic initiatives to enhance our comprehensive funding platform Conduct competitive analysis of funding platforms and investor networks What We're Looking For Essential Qualifications 0-1 year of experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or startup ecosystem Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis Experience with project management and cross-functional collaboration Preferred Background Previous experience in startups, investing, or startup accelerators Understanding of various funding instruments and investor landscapes Experience in relationship building and network development Familiarity with pitch development and founder coaching across funding stages Key Attributes Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in ambiguous environments Strong executive presence and ability to interact with C-level stakeholders Proactive approach with excellent prioritization skills Passion for the startup ecosystem and venture capital industry What We Offer Growth & Learning Direct mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and investors Exposure to diverse startups and their funding journeys across various stages Opportunity to build relationships across the broader investor ecosystem Fast-track career progression in the fundraising and investment space Network & Impact Build relationships with investors, incubators, and accelerators across funding stages Connect with promising founders and support their fundraising journey Contribute to democratizing access to startup funding Be part of a mission-driven team passionate about startup success Ready to Shape Startup Funding?
