Fleet Operations Manager

Position: Operations Manager / Driver Relations Lead

Key Responsibilities

Driver & Vehicle Management

• Oversee driver allocation, shift planning, and ensure efficient driver–vehicle pairing.

Training & Development

• Create and implement training modules to improve driver performance and engagement.

Driver Retention & Engagement

• Develop and execute programs to reduce attrition and enhance driver satisfaction.

Incentives & Payouts

• Design incentive schemes and payout structures to boost performance and morale (e.g., DSAT reduction).

Grievance & Escalation Handling

• Serve as the SPOC for the Uber partnership and resolve all driver-related escalations.

Performance Management

• Drive weekly and monthly operational targets and ensure consistent achievement.

Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing core team.

Recruitment

• Oversee sourcing, onboarding, and expectation-setting for new drivers to manage churn effectively.

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare and analyze monthly MIS and performance reports.

Engagement Initiatives

• Conceptualize and execute motivational programs and campaigns to strengthen driver relationships.

Requirements

Experience:

• 2+ years in fleet operations, transport, logistics, or related domains.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
