About the Role

The position has dual reporting to the India Country Manager and to the Global Finance Controller based in the US.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition
• Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Coordinate budgeting and financial forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings
• Develop and maintain internal control systems and accounting policies
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors
• Support strategic financial planning and decision-making

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role (typically 5+ years)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A qualified Chartered Accountant

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role (typically 5+ years)
