The Wedding Company is a tech-enabled wedding planning platform helping couples design, plan, and execute their dream weddings with ease and confidence. From venues to décor, photography to entertainment, makeup to mehendi – we bring everything under one roof, backed by a curated network of 2,000+ trusted vendors across cities.

Executing weddings across geographies, budget brackets, and unique client preferences requires exceptional digital and offline capabilities. Weddings are a single-take service — there are no second chances — and come with a unique set of operational challenges.

In just 18 months, we have:

• Planned & executed 400+ weddings worth ₹120+ crore in total service value
• Become operationally profitable (as of Oct 2024) while serving weddings in the ₹10 lakh–₹5 crore range
• Raised ₹8 crore ($1M) in pre-seed funding from marquee investors including LVX, Tremis Capital, and Dropbox Co-founder Arash Ferdowsi

What We’re Looking For

Finance Analyst (Semi-qualified CA)

What You’ll Do

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Maintain and analyze operational, financial, and performance data
• Build and manage dashboards in Excel/Google Sheets for leadership reviews
• Identify trends, variances, and process gaps to recommend improvements

Business Insights:

• Partner with Finance, Supply, and Category teams to provide data-driven insights
• Support leadership in pricing, vendor performance, and customer journey analysis
• Run ad-hoc analysis to solve high-priority business questions

Process Discipline:

• Automate recurring reports and trackers for efficiency
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all reporting
• Document and streamline data collection processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (completed CA Inter)

• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning)
• Good business understanding and logical reasoning
• Comfort with numbers, analysis, and problem-solving
• Clear communication and presentation skills

• Bonus:

  Familiarity with SQL/Python/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
