The Role
As a Financial Accountant with Worley,
you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc
- General Ledger Accounting:
- Maintain accurate and timely GL entries
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Reconciliations:
- Execute bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Accounts Payable (P2P):
- Manage end-to-end P2P processes
- Ensure timely vendor payments and compliance with SLA targets
- Monitor and report on P2P SLA performance
- Automation & GenAI for Finance:
- Identify opportunities for automation in accounting workflows
- Collaborate with digital teams to implement GenAI solutions for reporting, reconciliation, and forecasting
- Shared Services Operations:
- Work within a Finance Shared Service Centre environment
- Support cross-functional teams and global finance operations
- SLA Reporting & Compliance:
- Track and report SLA metrics across finance functions
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Qualification should have CA / CA Inter / Equivalent Finance Qualification.
- Should have 3-5 years of experience in Financial Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and ERP systems (Oracle).
- Experience in a shared services or global finance operations setup.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and automation platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
