Job Description

Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Direct and Indirect tax laws (GST, TDS, ITR, etc.)
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports, MIS, and forecasts
  • Coordinate with auditors, CA firms, and statutory authorities
  • Oversee invoicing, vendor payments, and internal controls
  • Implement and manage financial tools (e.g., Zoho Books / ERP)
  • Work closely with leadership on budgeting, cost optimization, and strategy
  • Lead or support a small finance team (if applicable)

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – 

    Must

  • Minimum 

    4+ years of post-qualification work experience

  • At least 

    2 years of experience with a CA firm

  • Strong understanding of Direct & Indirect Taxation
  • Well-spoken with clear and professional communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in 

    IT, SaaS, or funded startups

  • Familiarity with 

    Zoho Books or Zoho ERP

  • Experience in 

    team management or mentorship roles

  • Strong grasp of financial automation tools and practices
