Finance Manager

Manager – Finance (Public Listed Manufacturing Co., Noida)
Role OverviewIntermediate, execution-focused finance role. The candidate will handle a wide mix of operational finance, business risk, legal/insurance, project reconciliations, debtor recovery, and ERP systems. While each manager will have a primary focus, both will be cross-trained to back each other for business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Working Capital

- Daily liquidity planning, cash flow monitoring.

- Optimize working capital cycle (inventory, payables, receivables).

- Execute and maintain banking documentation & records

Banking & Funding

- Manage CC, BG, LC and loan processes.

- Negotiate with banks for terms, limits, renewals.

- Build and maintain strong banking relationships

Finance Controller Functions

- Support monthly/quarterly book closure.

- Prepare and analyze MIS reports.

- Coordinate audits, IFC compliance, and internal controls.

Fixed Asset Management

- Maintain Fixed Asset Register (capitalization, tagging, depreciation).

- Link asset register with insurance and statutory requirements.

Project & Cost Reconciliations

- Reconcile EPC and finance project transactions.

- Maintain project-wise cost statements.

- Provide financial inputs for project feasibility studies.

Insurance & Risk Management

- Manage portfolio of trade credit, asset, liability and transit insurance.

- Ensure timely renewals and adequate coverage.

- Handle claims, settlements, and insurer/broker coordination.

- Maintain risk register for contracts, insurances, legal matters.

Legal & Documentation

- Work with lawyers on cases, disputes and arbitration.

- Draft/review customer/vendor contracts, POs, agreements.

- Vet property registry and corporate documentation.

- Highlight risks in tender documents and contracts (“fine print review”).

Debtor Recovery

- Lead follow-ups on overdue receivables.

- Negotiate settlements and escalate to legal action where needed.

- Coordinate with credit insurers for claim recovery.

ERP & Systems

- Operate finance modules in ERP (ERPNext preferred).

- Drive ERP integration for projects, contracts, assets and insurance.

- Ensure accurate data entry and process monitoring.

Investor & Stakeholder Relations

- Handle queries from investors and analysts.

- Support SEBI/NSE disclosure requirements (with CS).

- Liaise with consultants, auditors, and agencies on financial matters

Must Have Skills

1. Ability to negotiate, coordinate and persuade with banks, investors, auditors, consultants, lawyers, brokers and agencies.

2. Strong ability to read and vet fine print in contracts, agreements, tenders and take proactive steps to manage/mitigate risk.

3. Solid grasp of finance operations, reconciliations, and ERP systems.

4. Analytical mindset with attention to detail in documentation.

5. Strong communication and stakeholder management Experience

6. 4–7 years in finance/accounts/audit/treasury/legal/insurance/project finance.

7. Preferably in a manufacturing or EPC/project-driven company.

Noida (Head Office).

Summary

This role is designed to be broad and cross-functional – one manager will focus more on operational finance (cash, WC, MIS, assets), and the other on non-operational finance (insurance, legal, recovery, risk). Both will be trained as backups for each other to ensure continuity.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
