Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and financial performance summaries for management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.

2. MIS Reporting: Preparation of Monthly Information Reportings within the set timelines and ensuring accuracy of data being submitted.

3. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, including the collection of receivables and payment of payables. Ensure sufficient liquidity to support daily operations.

4. Preparation and submission of documents to bank within the defined timelines.

5. Accounting and Bookkeeping: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Ensure proper recording of transactions, reconcile accounts, and support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support audits as needed. Assist in developing Risk Control matrix and testing of internal financial controls.

7. Financial Systems: Utilize financial software and tools to manage financial data, generate reports, and streamline processes.

8. Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as banks, auditors, and vendors, to support financial operations and build strong financial relationships.

9. ERP Implementations: Play a critical role in ERP enhancements/automations

10. Handling Audits: Handling Statutory, Internal, Due Diligence Audits and ensuring all data are being provided in a timely manner to ensure audit completion as per timelines.


Qualifications:


  • Chartered Accountant
  • Proven experience in finance, accounting, or related roles with 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar position may be required.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting regulations. Working knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning tools, etc.). Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion will be added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
