Job Description

Title: Finance Lead

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 months,Contract


Job Purpose

The role is responsible for supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis function through accurate data preparation, financial reporting, cost tracking, and coordination across various internal departments. The position ensures timely submission of financial packs, facilitates headcount and expense analytics, and contributes to process improvement initiatives aligned with bank policies.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Planning

  • Assist in the preparation of the Monthly Financial Pack, Annual Plan, and Group Head MBO review submissions.
  • Track daily expenses, compare actuals against the plan, and conduct variance analysis.
  • Prepare reclassification and rectification entries, coordinating closely with CAD for timely updates.
  • Support monthly provision files through collation, review, and bank-wide submission.
  • Assist in monthly cost allocation processes for support units.

Data Management & Analysis

  • Download daily GL transactional dumps and HR data for systematic review and analysis.
  • Validate and prepare headcount upload data for submission into the relevant portal.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting on expenses and headcount at the bank level.
  • Ensure data accuracy for analytical platforms such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, and other automation tools.

Coordination & Compliance

  • Work with PICG to ensure accurate employee cost centre mapping.
  • Conduct continuous review of accounting manuals, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes in alignment with bank guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce with

    2–3 years of relevant system or financial analysis experience

    .
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in

    MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MIS reporting

    .
  • Basic understanding of banking operations, particularly

    Oracle-based applications

    .
  • Excellent communication, presentation abilities, and strong teamwork orientation.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, integrity, and commitment to ethical standards.
  • Punctual, innovative, and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required.
