Job Title: Finance Intern (Articleship) Company: Fusionpact technologies Location: Hybrid Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our finance team. This role is ideal for students currently undergoing their articleship/practical training as part of their CA, CMA, CS, or other equivalent professional finance qualification. The intern will gain hands-on experience across various financial functions, contributing to real-world projects and supporting the team in achieving its objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and fulfill professional training requirements under experienced mentorship. Key Responsibilities Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts. Support in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses. Aid in the preparation and filing of various tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax), ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Participate in internal and external audit preparations, including compiling documentation and responding to queries. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Contribute to treasury functions, including bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and research as required. Qualifications Currently pursuing CA Intermediate, CMA Intermediate, CS Professional, or an equivalent recognized professional finance/accounting qualification. Actively seeking or currently undergoing articleship/practical training as part of their course curriculum. Sound knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, taxation basics, and auditing standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas). Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High level of integrity, professionalism, and a strong eagerness to learn.
